An historic 16th Century Hunting Lodge in the village of Edinbane, which was fully renovated in 2018. Now a casual, fine dining restaurant with rooms.
Head Chef Calum Montgomery serves his "A Taste of Skye" menu, showcasing the best ingredients available to the island over a multiple course tasting menu. The menu reflects his passion and determination to source, prepare and showcase the very best fresh seafood, game and vegetables that Skye has to offer.

The restaurant is an intimate setting known for open-flame grilled steaks and locally sourced seafood with scenic views of the Cuillin hills.

Greshornish House stands at the water's edge of Loch Greshornish, a 25-minute drive from Portree.
The dining room is open to non-residents through summer, with dinner served between 6pm and 9pm. The menu shifts with the season and the catch, built around Skye seafood, shellfish and Highland meat. Dinner is unhurried, with drinks on the lounge sofa before or after. Closed for dinner in deep winter.

Enjoy a la carte dining with a wide selection of local seafood and game complemented by wine from our excellent wine list. The menus reflect the abundance of fresh local produce, venison from the Estate and langoustines landed at the old stone pier of Eilean Iarmain.
For a more informal atmosphere there are lunches and dinners served in the comfort of the Praban bar with its open log fire. There is an extensive menu including local shellfish and seafood.

Overlooking Loch Snizort, the Pier View Restaurant at Skeabost serves the best of Island cuisine, freshly made using only the finest locally sourced ingredients.
After dinner, watch the sunset over the Loch from our patio, or relax and unwind by the fire with a local malt from the cocktail bar.
Just 10 minutes from Portree, enroute to Dunvegan, our elegant lounges with comfy sofas and cosy fires are open daily for lunch or afternoon tea.

Serving Scottish, seafood and vegan cuisine beautifully prepared by our team of chefs for your delectation is our pleasure. Caberfeidh is on Somerled Square in central Portree.
The menu runs pizzas, burgers, tacos, sharing sides and cocktails, with generous portions and a few Skye-specific options like the house pizza topped with black pudding and venison salami. Kitchen open Tuesday to Saturday, 2pm until 8.30pm. Walk-ins only, no booking taken. Dogs welcome inside. Vegetarian options across the menu.

The Edinbane Inn serves food from lunchtime through to dinner across the summer, with shorter hours in winter.
Bread is baked in-house and ingredients sourced from Skye where the kitchen can. Mussels, the veggie of the day and the sticky toffee pudding all draw repeat orders. Live music most nights. Locals book ahead in high season, so a phone call is worth it before you set off.
