This 200 year old former cottar's home and smithy is a little gem for two and ideally located for touring Skye.
Refurbished to a high standard the small four roomed single storey cottage is full of character with fantastic panoramic views over the River Snizort towards Ben Tianavaig and further away, the Black Cuillin. Within a pretty fenced garden surrounded by common grazing land, your stay can be quite special here.

The Kingsburgh Boathouse is a luxury one-bedroom cottage renovated from an historic ruin.
Located only 8 miles from Portree, it has a secluded loch-side location, with private terrace and rocky shore, and the wildlife can include sea-eagles and otters. Free Wi-Fi, but sadly no pets permitted. The Boathouse has been the romantic scene for engagements, honeymoons and anniversaries and some guests return regularly. Although having full underfloor heating, a log stove offers extra cosy evenings.
