The Old Mill Cottage

In a rural crofting community, on a quiet road, not far from the ferry port of Uig, and Staffin Bay. A real "get way from it all" location, avoiding much of the summer tourist traffic.

Sleeps up to 6 in 4 bedrooms (2 single rooms and 2 double fully en-suite rooms and a cot). All rooms decorated to a high standard with central heating throughout. Hawthorn Cottage is a modern bungalow with uninterrupted sea views. Guests say that the view from the lounge bay window is like an ever changing picture. Whales can be seen on clear calm days and there are regular boat cruises from Staffin.

2 Connista

A purpose-built chalet on a croft in the quiet village of Connista at the north end of the Trotternish peninsula of Skye, with views over to the Minch. Sleeps 2. Open all year round.

The chalet has an open plan sitting room / bedroom / kitchen, plus a shower / toilet room. There is a decking area for relaxing on in fine weather and an outside cabinet for hanging wet weather gear.

In the nesting season, buzzards may often be seen from the windows at the back of the chalet.

Aird Cottage

Aird Cottage is a traditional croft house located on the most northerly point on Skye's Trotternish Peninsula. Totally refurbished in 2009 with a sun lounge added for you to relax and enjoy the spectacular views across Kilmaluag Bay, and to the Scottish mainland.

The cottage is fully equipped to make the most of your stay and although in a tranquil spot, is within easy access of Uig, Staffin, and the island's capital, Portree, and all areas of interest you may wish to visit.
