Sleat (South) Self Catering
Ard Thurinish is a detached self catering cottage in the crofting community of Aird near Armadale.
With uninterrupted view out to sea of the Sound of Sleat. Inside, the sitting room is warm with comfy seating and an open fire. The colourful kitchen is well-equipped and it is open to the dining area. The house sleeps up to 6 guests with a double bedroom downstairs and a double and a twin bedroom upstairs.

The cottage sleeps two comfortably at any time of the year and has a log burning stove. It has it’s own garden, off road parking and is located just a 5 minute drive to the ferry to Mallaig on the Scottish mainland. The nearby walk to The Point of Sleat offers stunning views of the Islands of Eigg & Rum.

The surrounding area provides rugged shores, sandy beaches, moorland and forest walks and is suited for outdoor activities, fishing, hill walking and sightseeing.
Good eating places in the area include hotels, restaurants, and take-away outlets offering local sea foods. There are village stores, post offices, craft shops, petrol, garage facilities and taxis in the area.

With underfloor heating and a wood burning stove, it makes a lovely getaway in the winter months as well as the summer. Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome and they even have their own shower!
