I was born in Maceio in Brazil but came to England with my Scottish father and two brothers at the age of 7 when my parents separated.

My first school was Lena Gardens in Shepherd’s Bush, London before moving out of London to Gerrards Cross, where I attended St Bernard’s Secondary School in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. After school I went to Aylesbury College and studied City & Guilds General Catering for two years. I am 17 years old and have grown up on the Isle of Skye. I live in Portree, which is the “capital city” of Skye. I went to Portree Primary School and am now finishing my fifth year in Portree High School.

I have a part time job working in our family chippy, which keeps the sum-mers interesting. I have been involved in the hospitality field since I was about 12, helping in the Urquhart Caledonian Hotel and with the Brigadoon Boat trips. You could even say that hospitality runs in the Urquhart’s blood!
