Phoenix House

Phoenix House was the Talisker Distillery's old exciseman's house and was refurbished in 2007 to provide 3 large double luxurious en-suite rooms.

The house is located in the centre of Carbost village where there is a local shop, Post Office and The Old Inn providing evening meals just across the road. Evening meals can also be provided by arrangement.

Meadle Cottages

Meadle is a hill farm which lies between the villages of Carbost & Struan, overlooking Loch Harport. It is 14 miles from Portree, Skye's main centre.

Located 8 miles from Cuillins this is an ideal base for climbers & walkers. Farm tracks provide less strenuous walks. All the island's main attractions are easily accessible from Meadle.

On the farm itself there are many oppurtunities for bird watching - sea eagles nest nearby. Sightings have also been made of otters and red deer.
